Veli-Markus Tapio is a versatile legal professional who believes that law firms are often contacted too late. Many future problems can be avoided by addressing matters carefully from the outset and through proactive planning. In most cases, this is also the most cost‑effective approach.

Veli-Markus Tapio primarily advises SMEs in the creative industries, as well as associations and foundations. His areas of particular expertise include contract law, intellectual property law, and data protection. He also has extensive experience in advising housing companies and residential property entities.

In addition, Veli-Markus Tapio assists private clients in matters relating to family and inheritance law.


 

Fees

Hourly rate

  • Private clients: EUR 248 per hour (VAT included)
  • Businesses companies and other legal persons: EUR 211 per hour (VAT will be added)
  • Minimum billing : 15 minutes
  • For travel time to and from the client’s premises within the Helsinki Capital Region (Helsinki, Espoo, Vantaa and Kauniainen), we charge a fixed fee of EUR 56 (VAT included)..

Preliminary consultation and cost assessment

Free initial consultation and cost estimate. Conventional family and inheritance law assignments (such as prenuptial agreements, wills and powers of attorney) may be provided for an agreed fixed fee.

Insurance and legal aid

In court proceedings, we assess the client’s eligibility to have our fees covered either by legal expenses insurance or by public legal aid.

Our office is located on the street level of a residential building in Töölö, with excellent transport connections.

Paid on‑street parking is available on Hesperiankatu.

Monday to Friday: 9.00–18.00

Saturday: 10.00–16.00
